Global reinsurer Ariel Re has announced the appointment of Rohan Pai as Chief Financial Officer, effective April 1st, 2025.
Based in Bermuda, Pai will oversee Ariel Re’s financial reporting and treasury functions, supporting the company’s growth and its commitment to being the Premier Manager of Reinsurance Risk.
Pai brings nearly 25 years of industry experience to his new role. He joins Ariel Re from Velocity Risk, where he served as Chief Financial Officer for the past two years, driving the company’s financial strategies.
Prior to that, Pai served as Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Investor Relations at Selective Insurance and as Director of Corporate Finance at RenaissanceRe. He began his career as an equity research analyst with Deutsche Bank and Bank of America.
