The global insurance industry\u2019s turbulent conditions have continued for a few years, with significant inflation and demographic changes compounded by increasingly competitive and volatile market forces with no signs of relief.<\/p>\nWTW, an advisory, broking, and solutions firm, has launched Radar Vision, an AI-driven performance monitoring tool built specifically for insurers that provides early actionable insights for pricing, portfolio management, underwriting, and claims, allowing rapid response to emerging trends.<\/p>\n

Driven by this, Radar, which is part of WTW\u2019s Insurance Consulting and Technology business, an end-to-end analytics and model deployment solution, has been enhanced. The new launch complements the current capabilities by adding automated model monitoring that leverages AI techniques to generate early, actionable insights relating to inflation, competitor activity, claims, and customer behaviour.<\/p>\n
Some of the key benefits to insurers across both personal and commercial lines include enhanced underwriting profitability, new growth opportunities, and reduced costs. WTW explained that the existing solutions are resource and time-intensive and analyse obsolete, incomplete, and inaccurate data.<\/p>\n
In stark contrast to this, Radar Vision can be used by portfolio managers and underwriting, claims, pricing, and data science teams to automatically complete their calculations and assessments using up-to-date data and proprietary AI algorithms.<\/p>\n
