Laure Kearns will join the company in July as UK Chief Underwriting Officer. She comes from Greenlight Re, where she served as Active Underwriter.<\/p>\n
Her previous experience includes roles in Performance Management at Lloyd\u2019s, as well as underwriting and leadership positions at Newline Group, LV, and Allianz.<\/p>\n
Jon Wood is set to join in June as Head of Reinsurance. With over 25 years in the industry, Jon has held reinsurance broking roles at Willis Re, Guy Carpenter, and Aon. Most recently, he was Head of Origination at CatX.<\/p>\n
Two additional appointments will begin in May. Steve Pennington will take on the role of Chief Operating Officer, bringing prior experience from Scor, and Sachin Patel will become Chief Actuary, joining from Premia Managing Agency Limited.<\/p>\n
Accredited also recently welcomed Rey Cruz as UK Chief Financial Officer. He joined from Argenta, further rounding out the firm\u2019s expanded leadership team.<\/p>\n Stuart McMurdo, CEO \u2013 UK & Europe, added: \u201cThese senior hires will significantly strengthen our UK and European team.
