Global reinsurer Hannover Re has announced the promotions of Soeren Kruse, Niall Mulvey, and Raphael Rimelin within its Life & Health (L&H) division, led by Claude Ch\u00e8vre and Brona Magee.<\/p>\n

Kruse has been named Head of L&H, Southern & Eastern Asia. He has been with Hannover Re for 11 years, holding various leadership roles, including Head of Business Development and General Manager. Most recently, he served as CEO of the Malaysian Branch since May 2024.<\/p>\n
Kruse commented, \u201cSouthern & Eastern Asia\u2019s incredible diversity and growth potential inspire me every day. I\u2019m humbled by the opportunity to lead and learn alongside our talented teams and look forward to supporting our clients\u2019 growth ambitions.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mulvey has been promoted to Head of L&H, Greater China. Previously, he was Principal Business Lead, L&H Asia. Before that, he spent 14 years at Hannover Re (Ireland) DAC, where he most recently served as Head of Actuarial Function, Life & Health.<\/p>\n
Mulvey stated, \u201cI am delighted to work together with the truly exciting Greater China teams and am really looking forward to partnering with the diverse range of local clients in building solutions and creating value.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rimelin has been appointed Head of L&H, France & MENA. He has been with Hannover Re for nearly 25 years, most recently as General Manager of the Paris Branch. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Cigna, MetLife, and MMA Insurance.<\/p>\n
Rimelin added, \u201cStepping into my new role is both an honour and a privilege. I am grateful for the company\u2019s trust and excited to drive our success forward alongside our exceptional team \u2013 thank you for your continued engagement and dedication.\u201d<\/p>\n
