Acrisure Re US, Ltd., the re/insurance division of global insurance and financial services provider Acrisure, has announced the promotion of Tom Deane to Managing Director, Head of Acrisure Re Corporate Advisory & Solutions, LLC.
Deane will lead ARCAS US and serve as its supervisory principal, continuing to report to Ben Canagaretna, Global Managing Director of Acrisure Re Corporate Advisory & Solutions, Ltd (“ARCAS”).
In his new role, Deane will work closely with the global team to enhance ARCAS’s four core pillars: strategic advisory, insurance-linked strategies, retrospective transactions, and corporate finance.
He will also collaborate with colleagues from ARCAS, ARCAS US, Acrisure Re, and Acrisure, LLC to support key mandates and drive strategic initiatives that align with the company’s long-term goals.
Deane joined Acrisure Re in August 2023 as Head of Banking and brings nearly 20 years of experience in the (re)insurance industry, specialising in capital markets and advisory.
Before Acrisure Re, he was a partner at Stonybrook Capital, focusing on investment banking within the lower-middle-market insurance sector. He also held roles at JLT and Benfield Advisory (later acquired by Aon), specialising in capital raises and M&A transactions.
Additionally, Acrisure Re is pleased to announce the promotion of Devin Inskeep to Senior Vice President, Head of Ratings & Strategic Advisory. In his expanded role, Inskeep will oversee client services and develop ratings strategies that align with clients’ financial and capital objectives. He will also consult on strategic initiatives to help clients implement best practices and achieve long-term success.
Inskeep joined Acrisure Re in October 2022. Before this, he was Director of Capital Advisory at Aon and has held roles at Accenture, AM Best, Standard & Poor’s, and Willis Re.
